I was there last night (unfortunately having to sit in the 21+ balcony due to fms pain….I shouldn’t have worked out yesterday morning but at the same time I needed to feel like I COULD work out again). It was amazing. Kevin Devine was awesome too..talked to him before the show….he actually remembered Justin and me (I’ve met him twice in Philly, once in Pittsburg, and we ran into him at a Bright Eyes show in NYC) and we all talked about his set and about Philly. I got a vinyl of Brother’s Blood and it’s soooo pretty…coloured vinyl…there will be pictures. Anyway, show was amazng. I told Justin the second I defeat my fms I’m getting tickets to a concert that’s GA and going wayy up front like I used to in high school and going nuts the whole show.

This is the most I have walked in one stretch since I broke my leg two years ago and then got sick with FM.

I don’t know what tomorrow will bring — whether my body will continue responding in this amazing way, or I’ll wake up not being able to walk without help once again.

But I know this: today I feel stronger and hopeful. I feel a lot more like myself. It’s been a long time since I could say that. I needed each and everything that came to my life in the last 12 hours. It’s been a great Thursday.

Congrats to Julie on this….it makes me hopeful hearing others suceeding. Since for the first time since I started yoga I felt too weak to go to yoga this Tuesday morning…and I won’t be going next Tuesday cause of our anniversary…I figured tomorrow I’ll try to go to the gym and do light weights for the first time in i think over a month (since before I upped my meds)…I’m so nervous but at the same time if I can go and do my normal circuit I’ll be so hopeful and feel so much better

I really don’t mean to sound creepy…but this part of his job is so damn cool….and fun. If you don’t watch Dexter (which why the fuck don’t you?!) he’s a blood spatter analyst for Miami Metro PD. Here he’s smashing these fake heads with hammers to try and figure out the make of a hammer that killed a victim. I wonder if they can actually figure this stuff out by doing this (bet they can) cause that’s pretty damn cool.
